Fans of Pawhuska High School football will have an opportunity Aug. 20 to get a look at the 2021 Huskies, thanks to Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond and the Eastbay sporting goods company.

Pawhuska and three other high schools -- Rejoice Christian, Sperry and Holland Hall -- are scheduled to participate in the second annual Pioneer Woman Classic, to be held at Ormand Beach Memorial Stadium.

Information about the preseason tuneup event that Pawhuska Head Coach Matt Hennesy has released indicates that the Huskies are scheduled to engage in scrimmages with Holland Hall and Sperry, and then to play a half-game versus the Rejoice Christian Eagles.

The half-game versus Rejoice will be the concluding activity on the evening of Aug. 20, and it will be a rematch of the half-game that Pawhuska played against Rejoice in the 2020 Pioneer Woman Classic.

Scrimmaging is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. A half-game featuring Sperry and Holland Hall is scheduled for 7 p.m., and the Pawhuska versus Rejoice half-game is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
