Taking flight

Gene BigSoldier of Pawhuska flies into orbit on the back of a bull during the Thursday night performance, July 16, of the 69th-annual Cavalcade rodeo at the Osage County Fairgrounds Arena. BigSoldier didn’t quite finish the ride, although he gave one of the evening’s most memorable efforts.
