Spring seasons start

Pawhuska High School sophomore catcher Colton Hindman reaches for a pop foul Monday during the Huskie baseball team’s season opener versus Blackwell at the PHS field. The Maroons, who are contenders for this year’s 4A state title, handed the the 3A Huskies a 16-1 defeat. The Pawhuska squad was looking to square its season mark Tuesday against the visiting Barnsdall Panthers.
