High-riser

Standout high jumper Haley Mouser and the Pawhuska High School track and field team will open the 2015 season Thursday afternoon at Hominy. Mouser, a junior who is a two-time state placer in the event, recently finished first in a high school tournament sponsored by the University of Oklahoma. Other upcoming meets for the Huskie and Lady Huskie squads are on March 28 at Stroud and April 4 at Vinita. Ormand Beach Stadium will host the Pawhuska Junior High Track Meet on Tuesday, March 31. One week later, on April 7, the annual Pawhuska Invitational High School Track Meet will be held here.
