Hold on season

Pawhuska High School senior wrestler Taylor Priest is seen here finishing off a mat opponent last season, when he advanced to the high school state tournament for the second straight year. Competing in the 120-pound division, Priest recorded a fall in his first-round match at state before losing twice (to the eventual champion and the third-place finisher). Pawhuska High School’s scheduled home-opening dual match was cancelled last Thursday due to weather and the Huskie mat team was again denied its season opener on Tuesday. This weekend, coach Wade Rogers and the varsity squad will head be headed to the Chuck West Invitational Tournament in Bristow.
