PHS athletic year concludes with all-sports banquet
The senior cheer trio at Pawhuska High School: (from left) Jeni Hendricks, Hunter Sutherland and Erin Long. In addition to cheering on the PHS squads, Hendricks and Sutherland both contributed significantly to the Lady Huskie soccer program. Sutherland also qualified for the state track meet while Hendricks was a state qualifier in tennis.

The “Offensive Player of the Year” for the PHS boys’ basketball squad, Trey Rulo, left, transferred back to Pawhuska for his senior season and helped turn the Huskies into contenders. Zak Stone, center, the “Defensive Player of the Year,” joined with Rulo to give Pawhuska solid interior defense. A third senior player, Timmy Wann, received The Max Shuck Award for outstanding all-around contributions to the team.
