Thanks to those who worked highway clean-up
Again, a great big THANK YOU to those volunteers who came out on a somewhat cool and dreary Saturday morning to help clean and clear the northside curb from Lynn Street east to State Hwy. 99.
Our turnout was less than last Saturday’s, but what we lacked in quantity we made up in quality. Everyone worked their “booty” off.
We can’t thank the county and city crews enough for their awesome help running those big ol’ machines. Wow! Other volunteers included a city councilman, our ever faithful LDS Church missionary young ladies, a few “un-named seniors” plus Daniel Boone and Bob Chesbro, both of whom live out of town and care about Pawhuska.
Some of our contributors, other than monetary are: Orange safety vests, Mike and Mary Street; work gloves, Bell Supply; Weigants Pharmacy with latex gloves; Hometown Grocery, 50-gal. trash bags (that we easily fill time after time); and what we couldn’t do without… those wonderful glazed donuts compliments of Bill Todd of Hometown.
We thank everyone for everything you do. Working together we can truly make Pawhuska “The Gem of the Osage” once more. The ol’ gal is lookin’ good!
Sincerely,
