American Legion Post 198 honors veterans
Pawhuska Journal-Capital
American Legion Post 198 of Pawhuska recently honored two veterans for unselfishly protecting our country through their service. Following a delectable meal, Jack Watts (Vietnam) and Carl Core (Korea) were commended for their dedication and commitment to ensuring our freedom, and for the sacrifices they made for their family and friends while serving in the armed forces. Both were presented with a commemorative coin, a plaque of recognition, and a handsome Pendleton blanket. Those present expressed their sincere appreciation to Jack and to Carl for their service.
