Events of Note

March 6 -- Pawhuska's 34th Annual Academic Honors Banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Elks Lodge. The event honors the top 10 percent of academic performers among Pawhuska High School students. Micah Hall is to be the featured speaker. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at American Heritage Bank, Blue Sky Bank or the Pawhuska Public Schools administration building. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets before Thursday, March 2.

March 18 -- Osage County Republican Party Precinct Meetings and Convention will be held Saturday, March 18 at Ascension Church, 741 Rogers, Skiatook. Registration is at 9 a.m. The events are open to all Osage County registered Republicans. A photo ID or a Voter Registration Card will be required. District 1 County Commissioner Everett Piper is to be the keynote speaker.
