Music, dancing highlight Cavalcade nights

For those who still have plenty of energy to burn after the rodeo events have concluded each day, Cavalcade will offer evening street dances, with music provided by the following lineup of groups and performers:
Tuesday street dance - Hunter Thomas, 8 p.m., the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, downtown Pawhuska;
Wednesday - Shotgun Rider, 10 p.m., Lorec Ranch Stage, fairgrounds;
Thursday - Read Southall, 10 p.m., Lorec Ranch Stage, fairgrounds;
Friday - Pat Green, 10 p.m., Lorec Ranch Stage, fairgrounds;
Saturday - Flatland Cavalry, 10 p.m., Lorec Ranch Stage, fairgrounds.
Thomas is a country musician from Oklahoma City who bills himself as a guy with a laid-back attitude who can play a three-hour acoustic show.
Shotgun Rider is a band that hails from the Texas Panhandle, and describes its music as straddling boundaries between old and new, rock and country.
The Read Southall Band bears the name of its lead vocalist. The group is from Stillwater and features rock and country stylings.
Pat Green is a country musician from Texas who has been active since at least the mid-1990s and has recorded numerous studio albums.
Flatland Cavalry, another Texas band, describes its music as an “energetic” blend of county, folk and Americana.
