LIBRARY HOSTS FAMILY LAW LIVESTREAM
“Pawhuska Public Library is sponsoring a Legal Aid of Oklahoma live-stream video talk on “Family Law,” from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, in the library’s community meeting room. This is a noon-hour meeting, and the public is invited to bring a brown bag lunch. The Library will provide bottled water.”
POLL WORKERS NEEDED
Kelly Chouteau, ssecretary of the Osage County Election Board, issued a call for volunteer/paid workers to help conduct elections at the precinct level and in person absentee. These individuals must be reliable and willing to work long hours but only a few days each year.
Chouteau said that workers are needed in all the precincts/polling places around the county.
To qualify for the position, one must be a registered voter in the county. A Precinct Official may hold no other offices under the laws of the state (such as school board member or city councilman).

Osage County Conservation District is now accepting applications for the Cost Share Assistance Program. The practices include Brush Management, Serecia Lespedeza Spraying and or Mechanical Brush Removal. Applications are being taken now through April 27.
