Today was the 100th day of school! We will celebrate it Friday, Feb. 9. Due to no school because of the gas leak, teachers were not able to prepare for the special day. Please look in your child’s backpack for further information!

I would like to say thank you for your quick response and patience last week during the gas issues. I was very proud of all of the teachers, staff, students, and parents. Within minutes, the entire high school was evacuated and in a safe place. Within 30 minutes of the parent notification, the majority of students were picked up from the school! Way to go everyone!

The elementary students had a Rise and Shine Assembly in the new gym Monday. Following the assembly, the annual Spelling Bee will take place.

Parent/Teacher conferences will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 and Thursday, Feb. 15. Progress reports will be given out on these nights as well. Mrs. Shulanberger will present information to junior high and high school students and parents about FASFA, Oklahoma Promise, other scholarship opportunities, ACT, concurrent enrollment, etc. Please make plans to attend this important information meeting on Tuesday, February 13 at 6:00.

There will be no school on Friday, Feb. 16 or Monday, Feb. 19.
