Pawhuska FFA picks up litter

Many members of the Pawhuska FFA Chapter recently helped pick up trash along a two mile stretch of Highway 60 leading into Pawhuska.
Members of the FFA Chapter made an effort to help better the community through cleaning up trash along both sides of the roadway.
Many great bonding memories are made every year when cleaning up this stretch of highway. It is also a great learning experience for the members.
They learn that the smallest actions can make the biggest changes around the community. They also strive to keep Pawhuska clean and comfortable for not only all of the residents but for the many visitors as well.
The Highway Trash Pick Up is an event the Pawhuska Chapter does once every year in the fall.
Pawhuska FFA is happy to assist groups in the community whenever possible — to find volunteers for your organization or for more information about FFA, please contact Pawhuska FFA Adviser Jared A. Lemmons at jaredlemmons@pawhuskadistrict.org or (903) 249-6992.
