Osage County Free Fair set for Sept. 7
Plan to take part in your Osage County Free Fair. Fair days are Thursday, Sept. 7 through Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Osage County Fairgrounds in Pawhuska.
There are lots of things that you can enter at the fair and you don’t have to live in the country to take part. All Osage County residents are eligible.
Divisions for the fair include 4-H, Open Class (everyone), OHCE and some Senior Citizen categories. Even the county schools are encouraged to take part.
Besides all of the animal entries, there are categories for house plants and cut flowers from your gardens, fresh garden produce, canning and food preservation, baking and food preparation, and more.
There are several places to enter art work, handcrafted items and sewing, furniture making, even model cars. If you make or produce it, there is probably a category for it at your county fair.
Entry day for the Osage County Free Fair is Thursday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Exhibits can be picked up on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
