If you are interested in your child participating “On The Rock Summer Program,” please contact the office at 918-846-2467. The program will begin on June 15. They will provide transportation to and from The Rock in Bartlesville every Thursday during the month of June and July. This is a great opportunity for students to meet new friends, learn to ride skateboards, study skills, ride bikes, and many more fun activities. The cost is free.


Make plans now to attend the Wynona Founders Day 2017 Fun!! Crala Marlin and Amanda Stansberry posted the schedule for the upcoming Wynona Founders Day celebration on June 10. It starts off with a parade at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., announce the winners of the Little Mr and Little Miss Wynona, 11 a.m., yurtle race, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., lunch sponsored by the Wynona Volunteer Fire Department, $5 for hamburger, fries and a drink, 12:30 p.m., softball game, 2 p.m., horseshoe tournament, $20 per team, prize is a T-shirt, 4 p.m., cornhole tournament, $20 team, prize T-shirt, 6 p.m., dinner with a barbecue sandwich, chips and a drink, sponsored by the Founders Day Committee for $5 a plate. From 6-9 p.m. is family games and activities and from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. is a street dance with Bruce A Dycus and the Mercenaries. On Friday night, June 9, there is the 2nd Annual Founders Day 3-on-3 basketball tournament in the Wynona gymnasium with 5:15 until 5:45 p.m. sign waivers, 6 p.m. tip off. The Osage Nation Produce Vouchers for ages 55 and up will be available at the town hall on June 19 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Driver’s license will be required and we plan to have vendors on the site for residents to be able to use the vouchers.


Wynonans offer their condolences to the family members and friends of Kristen O’Donnell, who was killed tragically in a motorcycle crash on May 29. She had lots of friends and family members in Wynona and will be remembered fondly.
