The status hearing for a Pawhuska substitute school teacher charged with exposing herself to a group of local students has been reset for May.

Lacey Dawn Sponsler, 34, is facing one count of felony indecent exposure following a Jan. 26 incident in the school choir room. According to police investigators, Sponsler exposed herself by performing a cartwheel while wearing a long skirt and no panties.

The hearing was scheduled for last Thursday, but was postponed after Sponsler appeared for the hearing without legal counsel to represent her. Osage County Special Judge Stuart Tate reset the hearing for 3 p.m. May 25. Sponsler remains free on a $5,000 bond.
