Pawhuska public schools closed Thursday and Friday

Due to a gas purge site discovered near a school campus and because of safety concerns, all schools in the Pawhuska Public School District will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

According to the school's Facebook page, an investigation is currently taking place, and updates will be posted daily on Facebook and at pawhuskadistrict.org.

The back-to-school night for the elementary and Indian Camp schools will be rescheduled.
