It's time for Homecoming in Barnsdall

Misty Farber

Week of Sept. 29 to Oct. 5

Welcome, Fall! I hope everyone is enjoying the weather as we fall into the month of October and the last quarter of 2021. Fall is a busy time of year for the Barnsdall Chamber of Commerce, as it plans the Halloween and Christmas in Barnsdall events. These festivities are always something to look forward to as we end the calendar year and continue to Shop Barnsdall.

It is time for Homecoming in Barnsdall, as the Barnsdall Public Schools students will be celebrating with themed dress-up days throughout the week and ending the celebration with a homecoming coronation before the football game on Friday, Oct. 1. The Barnsdall Panthers will host the Drumright Tornadoes. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The Barnsdall Junior High Football team will host Bartlesville Wesleyan on Monday, Oct. 4. All games start at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Barnsdall Public Schools will have a school board meeting Monday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. All board meetings are held at the Elementary School Teacher Workroom unless otherwise noted. An agenda will be posted on the school website before the meeting.

The Barnsdall City Council will meet Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m. for its regularly scheduled monthly meeting. All City Council meetings are held at City Hall.

As always, please continue to check school websites for more information and any changes in schedules and events.
