Crime Scene on hiatus during pandemic

The Pawhuska Journal-Capital’s weekly roundup of felony cases filed in Osage County District Court, titled “Crime Scene,” is on hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The court system is functioning at a very low level, with fewer than normal felony cases being charged for the time being, and the county courthouse is closed to the public. The closure of the courthouse means that normal access to court documents is interrupted.

The “Crime Scene” feature is intended to resume publication after the health crisis has passed sufficiently for the county commissioners to reopen the courthouse to normal public access.
