A collision Friday afternoon at the junction of U.S. Highway 60 and State Highway 18 resulted in a road blockage that lasted five hours and 40 minutes, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

A 2013 Ford F-150 pickup driven by a woman identified as Kerry Lynne Pile, 60, of Livingston, Texas, failed to yield at a stop sign and hit a 2005 Peterbilt dump truck driven by a man identified as Larry Boyd Hamilton, 76, of Tulsa, the OHP said.

Hamilton, the dump truck driver, was reportedly not injured. Pile, however, was transported by Miller EMS to Ponca City Hospital, from which she was airlifted via AirEvac to St. John Hospital, Tulsa, where she was listed in serious condition with arm and internal trunk injuries.

The weather at the time of the accident was clear and both drivers were reportedly using their seat belts. The road blockage that followed the accident lasted from 3:46 p.m. until 9:26 p.m.
