Norman Louis Farmer

Pawhuska resident Norman Louis Farmer, 71, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Southwestern Regional Medical Center, Tulsa, OK.

Norman was born May 14, 1947 in Pawhuska, OK the son of Albertus “Bertie” and Lola (Patrick) Farmer. On November 15, 1968, he married the former Norma Janell Hammonds in Perryton, TX. From 1967 until his retirement in 2016, Norm worked in the oilfield industry. His hobbies included ranching and playing with his cows, and attending his grandkids sporting events. Norman was a member of the Nelagoney First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Janell, of the home; Daughters Melissa Fugate and Mendy Farmer; Grandchildren Tahlor Fugate, Kaed Fugate, Taryn Fugate, Payton Vann and Kenady Farmer-Lund; great granddaughter, Ariya Johnson; sisters Kay Gay and husband, Teddy, of Oologah, OK, and Jo Conner of Pawhuska; brother Duane Farmer of Tallahassee, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family. Norman was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2:00PM, at the Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Martin Witt will officiate.
