Donations establish scholarship

Shelby Laird Pawhuska FFA

Pawhuska FFA would like to thank the generous donors who contributed to our chapter and the Osage County 4-H in memorial of Jack Cheves.

During his life, Cheves was a strong supporter of 4-H and FFA programs. After his passing, members of his family requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to these two causes. Pawhuska FFA will use these funds to establish the Jack Cheves Memorial Scholarship to support students wishing to attend Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp. This scholarship will be given to one student annually at our chapter banquet.

This new scholarship joins the Clarence Brantley Memorial Scholarship as two means to assist students wishing to become active FFA members.
