School supply donations sought

For the 14th consecutive year, free school supplies will be offered to all students enrolled in Pawhuska Public Schools.
“The continued generosity of our community has enabled us to provide supplies to over 400 students for the past three years. This mission project has come a long way since its humble beginning of helping 100 students,” co-chair Sherry Willliams said.
Supplies will be pre-assembled according to grade. Distribution will be held at the Methodist Church’s Family Life Center, 621 Leahy in Pawhuska. Distribution dates and time will be announced later.
Sponsored by the Pawhuska First United Methodist Church, the free school supply program is a citywide project, supported by area churches, businesses, banks, civic clubs and countless numbers of individual citizens.
Williams said: “Because of limited storage space, monetary donations are currently being accepted. Donations may be dropped off or mailed to FUMC, 620 Leahy. Please note “School Supplies” on the memo line. If you need more information, please contact Williams at (918) 287-3438 or School Project co-chair Linda Boone at (918) 287-3711.”
