If you have a pre-k or kindergarten student, a bright pink note should have been sent out that has information about cap and gown as well as graduation dates.

The eighth-grade students are selling Amish Baked Good products as a fundraiser for the annual eighth-grade trip on May 3rd. All sales and money are due April 12. If you would like to purchase anything feel free to contact the school at (918) 846-2467.

End of the year testing will start in April. We will send out notices so students can be well rested and have a good breakfast so they will have ideal test taking skills. The ACT has been rescheduled to April 24. This is for juniors.

Wynona School is very fortunate to partner with the Osage Nation Prevention Program

PROM is April 20 with events as listed below.

5 p.m.: Gym will be opened: There will be backdrops set up for photos

5:45 p.m.: Walk through: Students announced as they walk through the designated area

6 p.m.: Check in: Students will be checked in and seated on a charter bus

6:30 p.m.: Bus leaves: Buses take the students from school to Keystone State Park located at 1926 State Hwy 151, Sand Springs 918-865-4991

7 p.m.: Bus arrives: The dance portion of the all-evening event starts

10 p.m.: Students can use this time to change out of their formal attire

10:30 p.m.: Bus leaves: Buses take the students from prom venue to Incredible Pizza, 8314 E 71st St, Tulsa, OK 74133

11 p.m.: Bus arrives at Incredible Pizza: The fun activities part of the all-evening event starts

2 a.m.: Bus leaves: Students will be taken back to the school

3 a.m.: Bus arrives at the school

Wynona School has been awarded the Oklahoma Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy grant. Our grant amount is a whopping $575,603! The grant money can be used for our students throughout the next three years. Wynona was picked from 37 eligible applications. We are able to hire a reading specialist as well as purchase various materials and technology to help our students excel in reading. We are very excited to have received this award!
