Julia Anna (Miller) Dilley

Julia Anna (Miller) Dilley, 54, passed away Sunday at her home in Wynona.

She was born December 1, 1961, in Kansas City, MO to Frederick L. and Pauline (Jones) Miller. A member of the Osage and Ponca Tribes, Julia was an Indian artist who enjoyed making moccasins and shawls. She was also the caretaker of her family.

Her daughters: Brenda Schueler and husband, Chad; Jennie Dilley;

Her mother: Pauline J. Allred;

Brothers: George Miller, Phillip Anthony Miller and Ben L. Allred;

Grandchildren: Addison “Princess Addi” Schueler, Ethan Schueler and Bentley Dilley;

Nieces and nephews: Jessica Miller Porter, Norris B. Allred, Marie Allred, Marcus Allred, James Russel Young, Fredricka Miller, Phillip Anthony Miller, Jr., Mathew Miller, Kaetlyn Miller, Madison Miller and Justin Bowen;

As well as other extended family and friends. Julia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jess Jones, Martha Mae Lewis, Shireld Dilley and Stella Dilley; and a nephew, Christopher Miller.

Traditional Indian services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 8:00AM, at the Indian Camp Chapel. Nick Williams will officiate. The funeral service will follow at 10:00AM, with Rev. Scott Kohnle officiating. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
