Community Foundation grant application deadline June 15

Pawhuska Community Foundation is requesting applications for PCF grants from eligible nonprofit organizations.

Officials recently announced an extension of the deadline for the local Community Foundation funds. The deadline has been extended until June 15, the officials said.

Approximately $20,000 in PCF grant opportunities will be available for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that provide programs and services to the Pawhuska community. The applications for the grants can be found online at www.pawhuskacommunityfoundation.org.

The PCF seeks to make a positive difference in the future of Pawhuska by empowering local individuals, groups and organizations to strengthen and sustain the area’s economic base, environment and quality of life.

Since 1993, Pawhuska Community Foundation has been hard at work pursuing this mission through support and funding of local community projects like the Ben Johnson Memorial Project, the National Indian Taco Championships and Pawhuska Skate Board Park.

PCF became an affiliate of the Tulsa Community Foundation (TCF) in 2009. That partnership has allowed PCF to invest more of its resources into the community, while spending less on administrative and operational costs.
