School board to meet Wednesday

Pawhuska Board of Education has a special meeting scheduled Wednesday to discuss the employment of a school superintendent.

The meeting is to begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Board of Education Administration Building, 1801 McKenzie Road. According to the posted agenda, board members will consider entering into an executive session to discuss the employment item.

Five more special board meetings are planned for the first two weeks of May. (All show a 5:30 p.m. starting time.) Dates of those meetings are: Monday, May 2; Wednesday, May 4; Thursday, May 5; Tuesday, May 10, and Thursday, May 12.

The board’s regular May meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9.

On Thursday, June 2, a special meeting of the school board is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.

The end-of-the-academic-year regular meeting will be held Monday, June 27, with a 5:30 p.m. starting time.
