Tickets available for PHS banquet


Tickets are on sale for the Pawhuska High School Honors Banquet, which will be held March 7 at the Elks Lodge.

The 27th-annual event will recognize academic achievements by students ranking in the top 10 percent of their PHS classes. This year’s theme is “Soaring to Success.” Featured speaker for the banquet will be retired Navy Cmdr. William F. Wright, a PHS graduate who flew military aircraft for 21 years and is a commercial pilot for Southwest Airlines.

Banquet admission is $8 per person, which includes the cost of dinner. Tickets can be purchased in the office of any local school or at the School Administration Building, 1801 McKenzie St. Tickets also are available at American Heritage Bank, the Tolson Agency, Pawhuska’s Chamber of Commerce or from any member of the honors banquet committee. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
