Clothing exhange set in Indian Village hall

A back-to-school clothing exchange for everyone will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, at Wakon Iron Hall in Pawhuska Indian Village.
The exchange, which begins at noon, is designed to help families needing back-to-school clothes. Here’s the way it works: Parents bring in their children’s gently-used clothes (i.e., no rips or stains) and exchange those items for an equal amount of clothing that’s new to them.
In conjunction with the back-to-school event, there will be a variety of entertaining activities — including some with prizes. Smokey the Bear also is expected to pay a visit. Everyone can come out and enjoy the fun.
