Osage County Extension has added a new member to the educator team. Abbi Goldenberg is the new Agriculture/4-H Educator for Osage County. Goldenberg is available to answer questions and offer advice for producers and community members around Osage County.

Goldenberg is originally from Central Texas where she grew up raising registered Holsteins, Red Holsteins, Brown Swiss and Jerseys on Goldfawn Farms. Her parents run a small cow calf operation and she grew up showing dairy cattle on a national level. Through this experience she won many awards including the International Red & White Cow of 2008.

One of most memorable accomplishments was winning Jr. Champion and Reserve Champion of the Jr. Show at World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.

Goldenberg attended Tarleton State University and graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture Service & Development with an emphasis in Extension and Industry. While in college, she worked for Texas Agrilife and The Showbox Magazine/Texas Junior Livestock Association. After graduation, she worked for Cargill Pre-Mix & Nutrition in Amarillo, Texas before heading to Oklahoma State University where she received her Master’s in International Agriculture.

Goldenberg enjoys promoting agriculture in a positive manner and writing different publications that promote agriculture industries. She is excited to learn about Osage County and to meet the producers she will be working with.

You can meet Goldenberg by visiting the Osage County Extension Office in downtown Pawhuska. Feel free to stop by, call or send Agriculture related questions to Goldenberg at: abbi.goldenberg@okstate.edu or 918-287-4170
