‘Denim and Diamonds’ 2015 Chamber Gala a sellout

The 2015 Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce’s annual gala “Denim and Diamonds” is sold out, according to Chamber Secretary Reba Bueno. “

Having a sellout actually makes planning much easier,” said Bueno. “Because there continues to be such interest, we created a stand-by list should cancellations occur.”

Gala Chair Jana Sellers said a shuttle will be available to pick guests up at two locations.

“The first is the parking lot west of the Post Office,” said Sellers. “The second location is the parking lot behind the First National Bank Building all the way down to the Chamber.”

The event will kick off at 6 p.m. this Friday with hors d‘oeuvres and viewing of silent and live auctions. Dinner is being prepared by Chef Jeremy Taylor. Dress will be after 5 attire.

Auction items continue to arrive and feature paintings by local artists Dr. Robert Chesbro and Les Stark and photographer Harvey Payne. Other items include a framed David Lorenzo print titled “Solitude”, a leather sash bag, gorgeous floor lamp, crystal bowel, bath products, herbs, assorted work boots, 148-piece crescent tool set, Pendleton slippers and beach towel, cheese tray, Brighten jewelry cuff, beaded rope cross with cowboy accents, hand-made boot-leg wine holder, gift baskets, centerpieces, a rabbit hombre scarf and assorted books.

Two unique Keepsake candles reflect the history of Pawhuska and Osage County. The first is a lemongrass-scented Pawhuska brick. The second is a cranberry/cedar scented candle featuring the Osage Nation’s shield. “We are so grateful for the support area merchants and individuals show their support with such amazing gifts,” noted Gala Chair Jana Sellers. “There’s bound to be something for everyone.”

Sellers once again expressed the Chamber’s appreciation to the Drummond’s for opening up their renovated building and to Citizens Bank for underwriting the event. For more information, contact Reba Bueno at 918-287-1208.
