Denim and Diamonds will be the theme for the Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce’s 12th annual gala which will be held Friday, March 27. The fete will be in downtown Pawhuska in Ladd and Ree Drummond’s historic south building which is located at the corner of Main and Kihekah.

Event Chair Jana Sellers said, “We so appreciate the support of the Pawhuska Elk Lodge for hosting our annual meetings throughout the years and are excited about this year’s venue change. The Gala committee is excited that Pawhuska’s own Chef Jeremy Taylor is designing the dinner menu and so grateful that Citizens Bank’s generous donation will help underwrite the cost of this event.”

The Annual Gala Dinner and Auction is the Chamber’s main fund-raising event of the year. Monies from the gala enable the Chamber to focus on its primary responsibility – economic development. This includes participation in various State retail summits and conferences as well as sponsorship and support of local events.

The gala will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person or $600 for a table of eight. Dress will be After 5 attire. “Seating is limited,” continued Sellers. “So, we encourage folks to sign up quickly.

“It is going to be a fun time. Wonderful items are arriving daily for our live and silent auctions. Donations are still being accepted.”
