Information sought on local hit-and-run

Local police are seeking assistance from the public with their investigation of a late night hit-and-run accident in which a Pawhuska man was seriously injured while riding a bicycle on East Main Street.
The incident occurred just before midnight on Thursday, Oct. 16, the police said. Injuries were sustained by Dustin Green, who had been riding his bicycle near the Stone Ridge Apartments, officers added.
According to police, the vehicle which struck the bicyclist fled the scene without stopping. It has been described as a dark-in-color passenger car, police said.
Anyone with information that might be related to the accident should contact PPD Officer Thomas Ohman at 918-287-4545. Callers can remain anonymous, police added.
