OSAGE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAS SHINGLES VACCINE

There is a limited number of doses of the shingles vaccine available at the Osage County Health Department, 1115 E. 15th Street, Pawhuska. Call 918-287-3740 to discuss eligibility for receiving the shot.

BURBANK ALUMNI REUNION SET FOR JUNE 28

The 2014 Burbank School Alumni reunion will be held June 28.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. and visiting will be until noon, when lunch will be served. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish for the potluck lunch. The business meeting will start at 1 p.m.

Nominations and elections will be held for the treasurer and secretary. Those who would like to be considered as a nominee or to nominate someone are asked to call or text 316-650-5275 or email burbankalumnipublicity@yahoo.com. Any alumni can be involved; participants do not have to be a graduate.

OSAGE COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO MEET

The Osage County Historical Society will meet 5 p.m. Thursday at the Museum, 700 Lynn Ave.

MEETING SLATED TO DISCUSS NEW BASEBALL/SOFTBALL COMPLEX

A second informational meeting to discuss Osage County’s new Baseball/Softball Complex will be held 6 p.m. today at the Community Center. The meeting is sponsored by the Osage County Sports Association.

ELKS LODGE SELLING BABY BACK RIBS

Pawhuska Elks Lodge is holding a Baby Back Rib Sale for the Fourth of July. The lodge will have slabs of baby back ribs for sale. Cost is $18 per slab. Pre-orders go until June 30. Pre-orders only, there will be no sales on day of pick up. Ribs will be cooked and ready for pick up on July 3 at the Pawhuska Elks Lodge. Pick up time is 4-7 p.m. To place an order call the lodge at 918-287-3815 after 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday or contact any of the lodge officers.

ELKS LODGE ALSO SELLING MEAT PIES

The Pawhuska Elks Lodge will be selling meat pies on June 21 with the help of Jackie McCann and Asa Cunningham. Pre-orders will be $3 each. The day of sale, they will be $4 each. Meat pies will be available for pick up at the Elks Lodge from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. June 21. FOURTH OF JULY PARADE SIGNUP BEGINS

To sign up for the Fourth of July Parade visit to the Chamber and fill a form out. The parade will be held July 4th and start at Citizens Bank. Registration is 9 a.m. and the Parade begins at 9:30.
