PECAN WORKSHOP SLATED

The OSU Extension office in Osage County is conducting a three-hour workshop on pecan production and grafting young pecan trees with improved varieties.

The workshop is scheduled to be held from 3-6 p.m. May 1 at the home of Dr. Michael Ben, D.D.S., near Fairfax.

KIWANIS CLUB TO HOLD GOLF

TOURNAMENT ON MAY 17

The annual Kiwanis Club of Pawhuska Golf Tournament will be held May 17 at Keystone Golf Club in Cleveland. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

A $50 fee includes greens fees, cart, lunch and prizes.
