Free ‘Food for Thought’ luncheon slated for Thursday

The Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce presents, “Food for Thought,” an energetic lunch and learn series designed to provide meaningful networking and professional development.

“Six Steps to Accomplishing Your Goals and Resolutions” will be presented by Tonya Foreman and Tara Gotwalt from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Pawhuska Business Development Center. Lunch will be served at 11:30 and the program begins at noon.

The presentation will instruct on not letting goals and resolutions fall by the wayside. Planning for success is key and resolutions are crucial. Goal setting and goal achievement are easier by following six steps for effective and successful goal setting and resolution accomplishment.

The public is invited to join Foreman and Gotwalt as they present “Six Steps.” Special thanks to the Tolson’s Agency for sponsoring the cost of lunch.

Chamber requests participation in high speed broadband survey

The Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce is involved in a working group of community representatives to provide high speed broadband to the Pawhuska Business Community. We need demographics and needs to be able to determine what will work best for everyone. If you have not already please take a few minutes out of your time to take the survey at . Feel free to share with anyone in Pawhuska.

Pawhuska EMS offers free First Responder class

Pawhuska EMS is offering a free First Responder class. Those interested can call the Fire Station at 918-287-4210 or attend the beginning class. The first session will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 1 at the Pawhuska Fire Station.

Participants must have a current driver’s license, be able to pass a background check and be at least 18 years old or older. High school students can apply for the class but will be put in a special program.
