YAHOO! WE GOT A FLU SHOT CLINIC

We have been trying for weeks to have a flu shot clinic for Wynonans and finally got a call that we can have one. Carter Health Care will be putting it on for us on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. until noon. We hope that everyone who needs a flu shot will come and take advantage of this clinic. Please let your friends and neighbors know about this clinic! They take Medicare, so bring your cards and if you don’t have Medicare, the cost per shot is $25. We appreciate Carter Health Care and hope everyone comes to get a shot and stay healthy!

WYNONA CHRISTMAS PARADE

The Wynona Christmas parade will be Saturday, Dec. 14 beginning at 6:30 p.m. All clubs and organizations should be making their plans to be in our parade. It will be a lot of fun, as usual. Mark your calendars. Come and see Santa and the parade. Santa will be handing out treats after the parade!

COLD AIR HITS!

Wynonans were hit with the icy cold weather on Thursday and it pretty much slowed everything down. School was canceled on Friday, Dec 6. Hopefully everyone has been staying inside and staying warm!

VETERAN REPRESENTATIVE AT WYNONA TOWN HALL

Just a reminder that Lee Webb, is still coming to the Town Hall on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. to help Veterans with their benefits. This is a great opportunity for veterans and should be utilized by all that are qualified. Veterans are reminded that they can use their tax exempt card from the state to exempt taxes on their phone bills. Just contact your telephone provider for more details. The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs representative will not be coming to Osage County anymore, but Lee Webb will be still doing the Veterans Assistance for this area. Every Friday Lee will be at the Pawhuska Community Center-9 a.m-11a.m., Wynona 11:30a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Hominy from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. and any other towns that need assistance can come to one of these towns to meet with Lee. Remember that the VA Healthcare meets all the requirements for Obamacare, so anyone who does not have their VA Healthcare should come and talk to Lee. Lee wanted to remind everyone that he will also be at Cleveland at the City Hall from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. on Fridays, as well.
