Removal of Chief to be considered at Nov. 14 special session

Following release of a Special Committee of Inquiry report on the investigation of Principal Chief John D. Red Eagle, the Osage Nation Congress adjourned Tuesday after voting to convene again in two weeks to consider the committee recommendation for removal proceedings against the tribal leader.

The tribal Congress voted 10-0, with two members absent, to hold its ninth special session beginning Thursday, Nov. 14.
