Shidler District 11 Alumni Association Annual Reunion —

Oct. 11-12

Registration commences Friday in the Old Gym 7-10 p.m., coffee & donuts provided. The Alumni Co-Ed Softball game will be held at Cotham Field from 7 p.m. Registration continues Saturday in the Old Gym from 9 a.m. onwards, coffee & donuts will be available. The Business Meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Ward Auditorium followed by lunch in the Old Gym. Catering by Debbie Jackson & Patty Cornett. Cost $10. Homecoming Parade is at 3 pm; line up at City Hall. Last event of the day will be a B-B-Q meal served in the Old Gym from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Alumni Homecoming Attendees at Methodist Church — Oct. 11-12

Shidler United Methodist Church invites District 11 Alumni Homecoming Attendees to visit the Fellowship Hall on Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to relax and enjoy the company of friends and classmates. “The coffee pot will be on.”

Hominy Fallapalooza — Oct. 12

Hominy Fallapalooza Craft Show & Festival , 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Horace Mann Elementary School will have arts & crafts, artists & dealers, and downtown events are scheduled for the day including a 5k run at 8 a.m. benefiting the American Cancer society. Other items include a citywide garage sale; sidewalk sales; downtown vendors; car & motor cycle show; free inflatables; pet costume contest, pumpkin decorating contest; ice cream making and an old fashioned ice cream social; live music; food; Punkin’ Chunkin’, Bingo, horse shoes and more.
