Osage County Free Fair — September 5-7

Rocket Launch — September 28-29

The Rocket Launch is going to be Sept. 28 and 29. Kids under 18 can fly free when accompanied by parents. Launch fees for adult fliers are $10 for one day and $15 for the weekend.

All adult fliers must be member of Tripoli or NAR. Fliers can register at the field.

Spectators are welcome to watch the launch, it is free and a lot of fun. It is held west of Pawhuska at the Pawhuska Municipal Airport. For more information, call 918-287-1208.

National Indian Taco Championship — October 5

National Indian Taco Championship is Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vendors, Music, Indian Dancing, Cowgirls and Barrel Racing, or just participating in all the fun and eating Indian Tacos.

You can be a Judge. Visitors can pay $5 for the chance to judge the Indian Tacos.

There will be a Indian Dance and Drum Competition.
