Last week the Journal-Capital reported about the economic impact the Flanagan pipeline project will have on Osage County. The Osage Nation, Enbridge Pipeline, Pawhuska Strategy Center, Laborers Union, Operators Union, Teamsters Union, and the Welders Union have joined forces to provide training for pipeline related jobs. The newspaper interviewed three Osage students about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to develop a trade and what impact it is making on their lives. These students are shown along with representatives of the Osage Nation. From left to right are Tribal Education Advocates Lindsay Bruno and Mary Wildcat, Human Resources Executive Director Delary Walters, Education Director Ida Doyle, Chadrick Toehay, Matthew Gray, Human Resources Compensation Analyst Jana Scimeca, and Hanna Brave.
