Blood Drive — May 22

May 22 — The Osage Public Health Program is hosting an Oklahoma Blood Institute blood drive at the Wah Zha Zhi Cultural Center. Each donor will receive a FREE Insulated Lunch Tote. You can call Jami Jones at 918-287-5485 or email jljones@osagetribe.org to schedule an appointment. You are not required to schedule an appointment however, it could help with any waiting time.

Fundraiser raffle — May 25

Saturday, May 25 — American Legion Post 227 & Barnsdall Chamber of Commerce fundraiser raffle. Bright Red 2000 ford Mustang Convertible. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Tickets can be purchased through members of the Barnsdall Chamber of commerce and American Legion post 227. Public hearing — May 29

Public Hearing on Osage Nation Child Care and Development for 2014-2016. Purpose is to insure quality care for Native American children and their families. Hearing will be held May 29, 6-8 p.m. at the Osage County Health Department.

Elks Day — June 1

Saturday, June 1 –Pawhuska Elks Lodge #2542 is having Elks Day from 9 a.m. — 4 p.m. something for everyone “Another Man’s Treasure” sale. Baked good, silent auction plus breakfast and lunch. This is an Elk’s Benefit Fundraiser. Tables are only $10 each. You can either donate goods or rent your own table. Contact Kim Moen for donation pickups or to reserve your table. 918-764-5602
