Pawhuska Elks Lodge is hosting children 12 and under of the Pawhuska area to a Halloween party from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Elks Lodge, west of Pawhuska.

Free games, fun and food for all will be available, as well as literature and information regarding Drug Awareness Month. The Pawhuska Elks thank the other members of the community who are volunteering their time to help with this project. The party is funded by a Elks National Foundation Promise grant.

This project was made possible by a grant from the Elks Nation Foundation, a charitable arm of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Through its Community Investment Program, the Elks National Foundation awards grants to local Elks Lodges to help the Elks strengthen their communities. This year, the Elks National Foundation will award $6.5 million in grants to benefit Elks communities.
