Kiwanis annual banquet

Pawhuska Kiwanis Club sees changes in officers during the group’s annual banquet on Sept. 29 at Greek’s Café. Dr. Patsy Simmons, seated, retired from her position as Pawhuska Kiwanis Secretary after more than 10 years of faithful service. Also pictured, from left, are Nancy Woodyard; Pastor Ken Woodhams, president; Jenny Perrier, secretary; Ed Ward, treasurer; Joyce Ward; Lori Loftis, past president. In addition, the Rev. Kathy Morris, (not pictured) was installed as the president elect, which means she will serve as president after Pastor Ken Woodham’s term as president. During the event, Joyce Ward presented Morris with a Zeller Award for her service. Robert Kelly was among those honored for perfect attendance — Kelly has 63 years of perfect attendance. Nancy Dawson was inducted as a new member. Kiwanis Lt. Governor Sandie Howard officiated at the banquet. Board of Directors were inducted as follows: Bruce Smith, James Hager, Joyce Ward, Diana Gaffney.
