The Drummond Home will be hosing a new presentation called “How To Tie A Scarf In A Dozen Ways,” which will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. May 30th at the Drummond Home.

One of the greatest fashion accessories is the scarf. They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. One may choose pashmina, cotton, silk, cashmere or wool. The possibilities are endless, as well as fun! The scarf is more than just an accessory, as it has the power to transport your style to another time or place. It is the last flourish, the exclamation point to the daily narrative of getting dressed, and it has the ability to truly make your outfit complete.

The presentation will demonstrate how to tie a scarf in one dozen ways. Each person will be given their own book with instructions to take home afterwards. We will also have a drawing for three scarves to be given away to three lucky ladies.

Tickets for this presentation, which will be given by Beverly Whitcomb, are on sale now and the cost is $10 each. Reservations will be taken for only 20 people as seating is limited. All proceeds will go to benefit the Drummond Home. Tickets may be purchased at the site or by mail. The address is: Fred Drummond Home, 305 North Price, Hominy, OK 74035. For more information, call 918-885-2374.

This will be a fun event as well as an opportunity to view the historical Drummond Home after the presentation is over.

Hours of operation are Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with tours given between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the last tour starting at 4 p.m.
