Limited tickets remain for Historical Society Gala
“Tickets are going fast for the Osage County Historical Society’s annual gala,” said event Chair Shirley Roberts. “Our theme this year is to remember Ormand Beach and recognize the many outstanding athletes who were honored by the prestigious Ormand Beach Award.”
Roberts said only 71 tickets are available for purchase. So far, reservations have come in from as far away as Connecticut, Michigan, Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma.
“Excitement is growing every day for the gala which is a one-in-a-lifetime event,” continued Roberts. “Two of Ormand Beach’s nephews are also planning to attend.”
The Osage County Historical Society’s annual gala will be held Saturday, May 2, at the Osage County Fairgrounds Agriculture Building and will feature a BBQ dinner and live auction. Guest speakers will share the story of the extraordinary life of Ormand Beach.
Tickets are $25 and available through any Osage County Historical Society Board Member. They may also be purchased at the Osage County Historical Museum, which is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
