Presentation teaches about ‘Grandma’s Garden’

“Grandma’s Garden,” a presentation by Linda Greenshields, will walk audience through memories of flower, fruit, and vegetable gardens which became the hub of family gatherings and activities of long ago.
Greenshields stories and songs will take the audience back in time as they remember scenes from their childhood.
Greenshields is a retired Stillwater elelmentary teacher who incorporated living history in the core curriculum of her classroom so “that the future may learn from the past.”
“Grandmother’s Garden” will be presented at 1 - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at the First Christian Church, 202 S. Wood., in Hominy. The cost will be $7 per person and all proceeds will benefit the Fred Drummond Home.
A minum of 50 reservation tickets will be taken until the last day of March, so reserve your spot now for this wonderful spring presentation.

The Drummond Home is located at 305 North Price in Hominy. Hours of operation are: Wednesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with tours being given between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 4 p.m.
