For the past four years, Pawhuska’s elementary schools have been participating in a stylish fundraiser.

According to Indian Camp Principal Beverly Moore, students who sell 20 or more items earn a limo ride and free lunch, all of which is provided by the fund-raising company.

Students participating are from the 3rd through 7th grade.

“This is PES’s second year to participate in the program,” said Moore. “The first year Indian Camp students earned a limo ride to the Pizza Hut. The second year they went to the Prairie Dog. In 2013, the program was expanded to include PES with lunch at Hernandez.”

Last Thursday, 28 PES students were escorted to Simple Simon’s for a luncheon buffet. A total of 35 Indian Camp students qualified for the special event on Oct. 30.
