The historic Constantine Theater was decorated beautifully for its open house Sunday.

This annual fete is one way the Constantine Arts Council shows its appreciation to members. Their support enables the theater to bring an amazing assortment of entertainment to the community, such as the recent Children’s Theater production of “The Timid Dragon” that drew over 1,600 area youth.

Serena Jeffers, daughter of Brian and Terrie Jeffers, delighted the audience with her charming rendition of ‘Santa Baby.’ In addition to a delicious array of Christmas goodies and sparkling punch, door prizes were awarded to lucky attendees.

Following the City’s annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, the Constantine Arts Council is sponsoring a free showing of “Jack Frost.” Santa will be at the theater Sunday, Dece. 7, from 2 - 4 p.m.

CAC President Garrett Hartness announced, “The first 300 youngsters arriving to see Santa will receive a gift.”
