New pastor named at Freedom Church

The Rev. Rick Krietemeyer has been appointed as the new interim pastor of Freedom Community Church.
With more than 30 years of pastoral ministry in Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma, Rev. Krietemeyer most recently was senior pastor of Emmanuel Chapel of South Coffeyville. He also has served as an evangelist and conference missions director for the Harvest Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Rev. Krietemeyer and his wife, Karen, are from St. Louis, Mo., but have been Oklahoma residents for the past 3 1/2 years. They currently make their home in Bartlesville, where she is employed as an administrative assistant in the Oklahoma Wesleyan University School of Business. They have six grandchildren.
The new Pawhuska pastor graduated with associate and bachelors degrees in theology from Slidell Baptist seminary in Louisiana. Mrs. Krietemeyer has an AA degree from St. Charles Community College in Cottleville, Mo.
Along with the church family, Pastor and Mrs. Krietemeyer invite community members to worship at Freedom Community Church, 701 Kihekah Ave. Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. Bible study starts at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.
